DESCRIPTION:ANNOUNCING\n \nTrans* and Faith Symposium\, 05 May 2016\, University of Warwick/UK\n\n\nThe deadline for session proposals is 29 March so don’t forget to submit your ideas.\n\n \nYou are warmly invited to attend the 'Twilight People' Trans* and Faith Symposium. This Symposium is to set a platform for the much needed dialogue across religious/spiritual and LGBTQIA+ communities to meet\, share experiences\, and discuss trans and non binary gender issues in a faith context.\nThis event is open to all communities. \n\nParticipation is free of charge. Capacity is limited and this will be a popular event so do book as early as possible - book your place:\nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/twilight-people-trans-faith-symposium-tickets-23262197860\n\n A small number of bursaries to cover UK travel for session presenters are available. Our aim is to generate a dialogue within the fields of religion/faith/spirituality and LGBTQIA+ to enable research\, create networks\, share experiences\, ideas and best practice through a programme of presentations and short talks that explore these intersections\, past and present.\nPapers/sessions can be from 10min-60min duration (we will have a mix of panels\, workshops\, talks etc.).
